Kris traveled down from London for the day, and brought a friend along—not just for company. I had recently transitioned to a 50mm lens and wanted to take some portraits along with some POV style shots. POV is my favourite style, my hands on them lets an audience imagine they were there in the moment. But a 50mm lens does’t let me get up close to the model. So having a second pair of hands to replace mine were useful.
The shoot started downstairs, playing with touch, tension, and expression—hands on skin, fingers pressing, bodies pressing against each other. The weather was cold but his body radiated warmth. Soft light, and the quiet intensity in his eyes gave these images an almost painted feel.
This set is all about touch. Hands on his body, bracing him, feeling him up, letting him surrender. The result- a set of portraits that feel raw, delicate, and slightly voyeuristic (could have been sadistic, but thankfully that opportunity presented itself later when I went upstairs).

Later, I took Kris upstairs. Different energy, different rules. But those photos? You’ll have to wait for those.
More to come.
